Our story

Mantelly started with a simple observation: the mantel is the one shelf in the house that changes with the season. In December it carries the stockings and the lights. In March it carries whatever you love looking at.

We build the shop around that idea. From October we stock the things that make a home feel like Christmas — animated lights, projectors, the pieces that make a room turn warm the moment you plug them in. The rest of the year we stock the clever objects that fix one small thing about living somewhere: the table that rolls to your chair, the light that knows when dusk is, the organiser that disappears into the wall.

Everything we list, we would put in our own living room. If a piece does not survive that test, it does not go on the site.

How we work

We keep the range deliberately small. One excellent version of a thing beats nine mediocre ones, and it means we can answer any question about anything we sell.

Every order carries a 30-day home trial. Live with it. If it is not right, write to us and we sort it out — replacement or refund, your call, no argument.
